Job summary

Fidelity International on Cannon Street in London seeks a Stewardship Analyst to review, analyse and formulate voting decisions for Fidelity funds and portfolios. You will support ESG integration, provide ESG data to investment professionals, and engage with investee companies on ESG issues.

The role involves writing memoranda, risk analysis, and collaboration with equity research, legal and client teams as part of a dynamic Sustainable Investing team. A hybrid working pattern is available.

Responsibilities

• Proxy analysis will include an in-depth review of all available public disclosure including internal and external research.
• The analyst should have a working knowledge of the proxy voting process as well as of substantive corporate governance and sustainability issues in major developed markets.
• Writing and research assignments will normally involve producing explanations for wider distribution within Fidelity related to specific pending proxy voting decisions as well as memoranda on ESG issues of topical interest.
• The candidate will be required to develop mutually productive relationships with individuals from various parts of the Fidelity fund complex, including equity research, legal, compliance, investment directors, institutional, sales & marketing.
• The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to solve problems creatively.
