Job Description

Join ISS STOXX ESG’s Global Sanctions Sector as a Research Analyst and contribute to our mission of enhancing ESG research and investment products. Based in London, you will conduct in-depth research on individuals, companies, and corporate activities within the context of national and multilateral sanctions.

Responsibilities
  1. Comprehensive Research: Conduct thorough desktop research on individuals and companies designated under sanctions; analyze corporate involvement in countries covered by U.S. state-level sanctions.
  2. Analytical Reporting: Draft detailed reports on the activities of these entities, independently and collaboratively.
  3. Product Enhancement: Participate in team efforts to improve sanctions-related products.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in political science, international relations, conflict studies, or related fields.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in sanctions, international law or politics, due diligence, or intelligence research.
  • Fluency in English with strong writing and research skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interest in business and finance.
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and task management skills.
  • Methodical and thorough work approach.
