Job summary

MBDA Bristol is seeking a Sustainable Procurement professional to lead ESG initiatives and embed them across MBDA and its supply chain. The role focuses on reducing Scope 3 emissions, managing ESG supplier assessments, and delivering data-driven improvements.

You will train colleagues, manage stakeholder communications, and drive reporting accuracy while supporting flexible hybrid work arrangements across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in ESG and Sustainable Procurement or willingness to learn.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and reporting capabilities for internal/external stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.
• Good stakeholder briefing and influencing abilities across the enterprise.
• Broad business acumen to engage credibly with MBDA teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to embed Sustainable Procurement across MBDA and supplier networks.
• Manage ESG supplier assessment tools, including reporting and risk management.
• Develop and deliver training and resources for the PUK community and supply chain.
• Provide data-led evidence and improvement plans with suppliers to reduce emissions.
• Design simplified SP reporting to improve consistency and reduce report volume.
• Engage with internal and external events to promote sustainable procurement and social value ethics.
