Summary/Overview

The Sustainability Data and Technology Program is a bank-wide initiative to deliver a strategic solution for Environmental, Social, and Governance data across Deutsche Bank. It is part of the Sustainability Strategy Key Deliverable.

As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the Data Team. Your responsibilities include reviewing stakeholder use cases, gathering and documenting requirements, defining high-level implementation steps, and creating business user stories. You will work closely with the Product Owner and development teams to ensure requirements align with business needs and technical standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data analysis for completeness, transformation, filtering, and validation
  • Analyze structured data tables and databases for quality and accuracy
  • Design data mappings to transform source data for reporting applications
  • Ensure solutions align with strategic product frameworks
  • Define acceptance criteria and support user acceptance testing
  • Coordinate with project management and engineering teams to support solution implementation and maintenance
Your Skills and Experience
  • Extensive business analysis experience in banking, covering full project lifecycle and understanding of core processes and data flows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with analysis tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience querying large datasets (e.g., SQL)
  • Effective teamwork in virtual and matrix organizations
  • Relevant qualifications like PMI, Prince2, or similar are preferred
