The Clancy Group is seeking an enthusiastic ESG Coordinator to join our Sustainability team. You will support the ESG programme, manage data, assist reporting, and coordinate stakeholder engagement across the business to drive environmental and social value.
You will work with operational teams to embed sustainability practices, maintain records for audits, and contribute to external disclosures and policy updates. A degree or equivalent in sustainability and a UK driving licence are desirable.
That's why we need people like you to help us deliver on our promises. People who enjoy getting things done.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised ESG Coordinator to join our Sustainability team, supporting the delivery and development of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) programme.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in sustainability and responsible business practices who is looking to develop their experience across carbon management, environmental performance, ESG reporting and social value. You'll play an important role in helping us monitor our progress against environmental and social commitments, working with colleagues across the business to gather information, coordinate activities and support the delivery of our sustainability objectives.
Working closely with the Sustainability team, you'll help manage ESG data, support reporting and compliance requirements, coordinate stakeholder engagement and contribute to initiatives that make a positive difference across our business and the wider communities in which we work.
You have strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate activities and work to deadlines. You're a confident communicator who enjoys working with different people across a business, building relationships and gathering information from a range of stakeholders.
You'll have a genuine interest in sustainability, ESG and responsible business practices, together with the enthusiasm to learn and develop your knowledge in this area. You're comfortable working with data and information, ensuring records are accurate and well maintained, and can communicate findings clearly to others.
Previous experience within sustainability, environmental management or ESG reporting would be beneficial, along with an understanding of carbon accounting and greenhouse gas emissions reporting. Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as EcoVadis, ISO 14064 and SECR would also be advantageous.
Experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities or engineering would be useful, as would membership of ISEP or another relevant professional body.
A degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Geography, Business or a related discipline would be desirable but is not essential. An ISEP Foundation Certificate or an equivalent sustainability qualification would also be advantageous.
A full UK driving licence is also required.
You’ll be joining a team where you can continue to develop your knowledge and experience, with opportunities for ongoing professional development, training and support towards relevant professional memberships and qualifications.
