The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking an ESG Consultant to join our growing AgriTech team in Bristol. You will assess environmental and social impact across farming and food production operations and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
You’ll build ESG reporting frameworks aligned with current regulations, track policy changes in UK and EU agrifood, and support client proposals with data and case studies. A few years in ESG and a degree in a related field are expected.
Make your mark as an ESG Consultant in the AgriTech sector, based in Bristol.
Agriculture is under more scrutiny than almost any other sector right now. Investors want proof of environmental performance, regulators keep raising the bar, and food producers need someone who can translate policy into practice. This growing AgriTech business, an established SME with a genuine track record, is looking for an ESG Consultant to sit at the centre of that work. You'd be joining a team that's past the startup scramble but still small enough that your input actually shapes decisions.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Assess environmental and social impact across client farming and food-production operations, then turn the findings into clear recommendations
Build and maintain ESG reporting frameworks aligned with current and upcoming regulation
Work directly with agricultural technology teams to measure carbon, water use, and biodiversity outcomes
Prepare client-facing reports and present findings to stakeholders who don't always speak sustainability jargon
Track regulatory change across UK and EU agrifood policy and flag what it means for clients
Support new business proposals with ESG data and case studies from live projects
Here are the skills you'll need:
A few years' experience in ESG, sustainability consulting, or a related environmental role
Working knowledge of ESG reporting standards (GRI, TCFD, or similar)
Comfortable with data. You'll be pulling numbers together and making them mean something
Confident communicator, able to write for both technical and non-technical audiences
Genuine interest in agriculture or food systems helps. It's not a prerequisite, but it shows
Degree in environmental science, sustainability, agriculture, or a related field
Key perks and benefits:
Salary of £35,500 to £45,000, depending on experience
Bonus scheme on top of base pay
Private medical insurance and pension contribution
Hybrid working, split between home and the Bristol office
Generous annual leave plus flexible working arrangements
Why pursue a career in AgriTech?
AgriTech is one of the few sectors where sustainability isn't a side project, it's the whole point. Bristol has quietly become a hub for it, with a cluster of food, farming, and climate-tech businesses that need people who understand both the science and the spreadsheet. An ESG Consultant who builds a reputation here has a clear run at senior advisory or leadership roles within a few years, and the demand isn't slowing down.
