Job summary

A leading consulting firm is looking for an ESG Consultant to support a public sector client in delivering on Environmental, Social, and Governance commitments. This contract role offers £300 - £350 per day for 6-12 months. Your responsibilities will include ensuring ESG compliance, driving improvements, and building stakeholder relationships to make a significant impact on a high-profile programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks (GRI, TCFD, UN SDGs).
• Background in public sector or consultancy projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary ESG liaison between client, vendors, and the client.
• Assess and monitor supplier ESG commitments against agreed standards.
• Develop and deliver ESG action plans, KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
• Track and report progress against ESG objectives, ensuring audit-ready evidence.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across ESG performance.
