Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for ESG & Compliance Assistant (Graduate) to join our Glasgow team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an office-based role.

THE ROLE

The main purpose of the role is to support the Risk and Compliance team, assist Maven’s ESG initiative, and support clients by gathering ESG data and producing ESG reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with the Compliance team to ensure all ESG reporting requirements are met.
• Support the Compliance Partner and Analyst with risk and compliance activities, including maintaining compliance registers and conducting desk-based monitoring.
• Act as the key contact for ESG inquiries from portfolio companies.
• Provide guidance to portfolio companies in gathering ESG data.
• Work closely with the Investment Team and portfolio companies to embed ESG processes.
• Assist in collating and reporting ESG data, ensuring accuracy and currency.
• Assist in developing ESG reports and support compliance reporting.
