Job summary

Stannah is recruiting an Escalator Engineer to service and repair escalator and moving walkway systems across Scotland Central Belt. You will work on high-profile transport infrastructure, ensuring safe, reliable operation with a focus on fault finding and preventative maintenance.

Role covers Scotland Central Belt with a schedule Monday to Friday and opportunities for overtime. NVQ 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent is required, plus experience with a range of manufacturers and equipment

Qualifications

• Must hold a minimum NVQ 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing escalator/elevator equipment in customer environments.
• Experience using computer or PDA to log calls and access equipment information.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, repairs and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers.
• Maintain high standards of service delivery, safety, and customer care.
• Perform risk assessments and keep site log cards during every visit.
