Job summary

KONE is seeking an Escalator Engineer to deliver installation and modernisation projects across the UK. The role involves ensuring high safety, quality, and performance standards while bringing new equipment into service at diverse sites.

Based near Keighley with nationwide travel from London to Scotland, you will join a growing team, receive structured training, and have opportunities to progress into senior or specialist roles within a supportive, safety-driven culture.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• UK driving licence (a KONE van will be provided)

Responsibilities

• Deliver the installation and modernisation of escalators across project sites while ensuring safety, quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with the specialist team to bring new equipment into service and upgrade existing infrastructure across high-profile environments.
• Support ongoing expansion by contributing to regional capability development and service delivery.

We’re currently growing our Escalator Installation and Modernisation team and are looking for talented Escalator Engineers to join us.

As an Escalator Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering the installation and modernisation of escalators across a range of project sites. You’ll ensure every unit is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Working alongside a specialist team, you’ll play a key role in bringing new equipment into service and upgrading existing infrastructure across high-profile environments.

While our escalator team is primarily based in Keighley, our projects span nationwide; from London to Scotland. As we continue to grow, we’re building regional capability to support this expansion.
