Job summary

National Grid plc is seeking a Project Director to lead a major ERP and core finance systems replacement. The role covers mobilisation through go-live, stabilisation and benefits realisation, with end-to-end accountability for business case, governance, data migration and change management.

You will drive cross-functional delivery across Finance, IT, Procurement, Regulation and Operations, ensuring timely delivery, quality and board-level assurance.

Qualifications

• Experienced programme leader with large ERP delivery in finance.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and controls.
• Proven governance, risk management and benefits realisation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme with integrated plan, governance and delivery discipline.
• Own business case, costs, benefits, risks and strategic outcomes.
• Lead solution selection, procurement and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee data migration, testing, cutover and stabilisation.
• Drive organisational change, communications, and business readiness.
• Manage partners and suppliers to ensure value for money and performance.
