About the Role:

Macphie Ltd is currently seeking an experienced ERP Support Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support for our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring its effectiveness and efficiency in meeting the needs of our business operations. You will work closely with various departments to understand their ERP-related needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. Your analytical skills and IT expertise will contribute to optimising workflows and improving overall system performance. The role can be based at our site in Glenbervie, Stonehaven or Uddingston, Glasgow which ever is closest for you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and guidance for ERP system users across the organisation.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on ERP functionalities and best practices.
  • Assist with the integration of new modules and features into the existing ERP system.
  • Document system processes, workflows, and user guides to enhance user understanding and system usability.
  • Participate in ERP-related projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an ERP Support Analyst or similar role within a manufacturing or food industry.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and their modules.
  • Knowledge of IFS specifically would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SQL or other database management tools and generating custom reports.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with scripting or programming languages related to ERP platforms.
  • Desirable: Experience integrating ERP systems with other applications and platforms.
  • Understanding of key business processes (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, manufacturing).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying system issues.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Hold a valid, full UK drivers license and have the ability to travel.
