Qualifications

  • An understanding of Production Control & Logistics concepts, systems and relevant business processes.
  • Proven expertise in ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
  • Working knowledge of business process & product awareness across Air Manufacturing.

Job description

Job Title: ERP Specialist

Salary: £54,793+ depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as subject matter expert for all business transactions associated with discharging the end-to-end processes within the AIR ERP solution, often in support of interoperability activities
  • Evaluating existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assisting the business in better understanding how to optimise their use of the ERP solution through education, training and process tailoring
  • Maps and models current and future business processes to facilitate smooth ERP implementation

Your skills and experiences:

  • Extensive experience of implementing Production Planning / Logistics processes within a manufacturing environment
  • An understanding of Production Control & Logistics concepts, systems and relevant business processes. This includes experience in a manufacturing/procurement/supply chain environment
  • Proven expertise in ERP systems (experience with Infor LN 10.4 highly desirable)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools
  • Working knowledge of business process & product awareness across Air Manufacturing

The ERP team:

The ERP Specialist plays a critical role in the successful delivery of the ERP implementation project by bridging the gap between stakeholders and technical teams. This role focuses on gathering and analysing requirements, mapping business processes, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives. The ERP Specialist supports change management, performs user acceptance testing, and ensures seamless communication across all project phases.

The individual will evaluate existing business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and work with stakeholders to implement solutions. Additionally, the role includes developing documentation, conducting feasibility assessments, and supporting data modelling to ensure the ERP system meets user needs.
