Job summary

Porvair Filtration Group is seeking an ERP Manufacturing Engineer for our Segensworth site. You will own the creation, validation and continuous improvement of ERP master data, including BOMs, routings and production standards, ensuring accuracy and release in line with engineering, quality and operational requirements.

You will report to the Head of Operations and contribute to safety, system ownership, and data-driven improvements across manufacturing processes, including NPIs and redesigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• ERP experience.
• Experience in understanding mechanical drawings.
• Relevant experience in engineering roles in manufacturing environments.
• Experience of metal fabrication and surface treatment processes.
• Excellent communication, technical, and training skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience working in an AS9100 environment.
• CAD experience.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma techniques.
• Experience working in CNC environments.

Responsibilities

• Proactively support a safety‑first, collaborative team culture.
• Provide technical guidance for risk assessments as necessary.
• Support HSE investigations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure production release aligns with known safe practices.
• Highly efficient creation, maintenance and validation of ERP master data including BOM and routings.
• Ensure Engineering Change Control correctly applied to all releases.
• Own system updates for both new and existing products.
• Develop rework routings as required to enable product repair.
• Provide validated routings and BOM for NPI and redesigned products.
• Champion improvements in routings to improve production delivery.
• Measure and provide updates to reduce material variances.
• Support continuous improvement events to ensure ERP readiness.
• Lead VSM events to support data accuracy and drive improvements.
• Support and drive company initiatives to reinforce our Company Values.
• Perform other tasks as required.

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented ERP Manufacturing Engineer to join our Production team at our Segensworth site. Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role is responsible for the creation, maintenance, validation and continuous improvement of manufacturing master data within the ERP system. The role ensures that bills of materials, routings, work centres, production standards and associated manufacturing data are accurate, controlled and released in line with business, engineering, quality and operational requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing
