Job Description
Experienced ERP Oracle Financials Direct Sales Director with a strong understanding of major ERP ecosystems and how to leverage relationships within the Oracle ecosystem, both internally and with Oracle partners. This global multi-billion dollar Tax SaaS provider is a recognized industry leader, offering Tax determination solutions worldwide. Their cutting-edge, fully cloud-based solutions are embedded in major ERP providers. As Sales Director, you will lead and coach a team of three, and will be strategically positioned to sell to ERP clients through contacts with Oracle/SAP sales executives, their partners, and clients.
The Strategy behind the Role:
Ideally based with a strong contact base within Oracle’s sales teams and partners. Your role involves hunting deals around them, selling enterprise tax determination solutions to their clients. You should have a robust ERP Financials background to effectively sell tax solutions and network within this space efficiently.
Leverage relationships with Oracle and Oracle Partner sales teams to generate leads and accelerate deal closures in the UK and Ireland.
Target deals in the upper mid-market to enterprise scale, supported by a multi-billion dollar business.
Develop a team focused on specific ERP providers to cultivate enterprise deals.
Report to SVP level and lead by example to promote a hunter mentality.
Location: South East England – primarily London or South England. Hybrid work model with at least 2 days in the office per week.
Salary: Competitive Sales Director salary, variable incentives, benefits, and vested stock options in a company nearing exit.
Your Background:
Over 10 years of senior sales experience, with proven success in closing enterprise deals in markets between $500 million and $3 billion.
Expertise in ERP Financials solutions, especially Oracle (and ideally SAP) ecosystems. Experience leading teams with familiarity in methodologies like Gartner, Value Selling, MEDDIC, Sanderson, or similar, and thriving in the UK&I territory.
As a hands-on Sales Director, you will build and lead a team of 3-4 specialists in different ERP providers, selling a third-party Tax SaaS that automates tax processes for global finance offices.
Capable of selling tax or e-invoicing solutions into clients with major ERP systems requiring automation.
Ideally:
Possess a network of Oracle and partner contacts to develop a strong deal pipeline.
Have experience selling Tax SaaS or E-invoicing solutions, with ERP solutions being the primary focus.
