Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for a Production & Purchasing Administrator in Baldock, Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on role supporting purchasing and production administration within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will manage an ERP/MRP system, raise purchase orders, load works orders and ensure materials and supplier deliveries are on time. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, production administration, supply chain, materials planning or manufacturing.
• Experience using an ERP or MRP system.
• Experience raising and managing purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing and production administration activities with production, purchasing, estimating and management.
• Use and maintain information in the ERP/MRP system.
• Load and manage production works orders and update job information.
• Raise purchase orders for materials, components and subcontracted services.
• Order materials for current and upcoming production jobs and monitor supplier deliveries.
• Chase suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and update delivery dates as needed.
