ER Specialist – Organisational Change and Restructuring

Are you an experienced ER professional with a strong background in ER Projects, Organisational Change and restructuring? We’re partnering with a global organisation currently undergoing an exciting modernisation journey and looking for an interim ER Specialist to support through a period of significant transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful ER projects within a supportive team, helping shape the future structure of a well-established international business.

About the Role:
You will play a pivotal role in supporting business-led structural changes across a large, matrixed organisation. This role is essential in driving forward change initiatives while ensuring consistency, compliance, and support across the business.

You will:

  • Support the development and delivery of change proposals and business cases
  • Advise leaders on restructure plans, role redesign, and organisational effectiveness
  • Review team structures, assess leadership alignment, and help to shape new roles
  • Manage and support redundancy consultations and complex ER issues
  • Draft and prepare high-quality documentation for senior stakeholder sign-off, including the CPO
  • Navigate confidential and sensitive conversations with professionalism and discretion
  • Contribute to the shift toward a changing business model, helping shape the future structure of teams
  • Operate in a collaborative and friendly ER team known for strong relationship building

Skills and Experience

  • You must have gained the above experience within Financial Services
  • Experienced in leading and advising on change management, restructures, and organisational design
  • Used to working in complex, matrixed environments
  • Experience of handling settlement agreements and redundancy processes
  • Used to managing sensitive and detailed documentation with high levels of accuracy
  • Communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and navigating complex conversations with confidence
