Job summary

Brett is seeking a People Advisor to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on Employee Relations, providing professional guidance to managers across sites and aiming for early resolution of cases wherever possible.

Based in Canterbury with travel to other Brett sites as required, you will support the Group Head of People, deliver ER training, contribute to people data analysis, policy deployment and wider HR projects across the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Employee Relations.
• Experience delivering people-related training.
• Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to managers on ER matters.
• Support formal processes such as disciplinary and grievance meetings.
• Coach managers on policy application and best practice.
• Analyse key people data to identify trends and improvements.
• Design and deliver HR training and onboarding support for new managers.
• Regular site visits to maintain presence across Brett sites.
• Support HR projects and broader business initiatives.
