A hospitality group is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to enhance their in-house HR capabilities. This role focuses on building trust with managers, guiding them through employee relations challenges, and ensuring smooth processes. The ideal candidate will have over three years of HR or ER experience and a strong understanding of UK employment law. We’re on the lookout for a people-first Employee Relations Partner to join our growing People Team. This is a big step for us, we’re moving away from relying on external legal support and bringing ER in-house. It’s the perfect time for someone confident, collaborative and experienced to come in and really make it their own.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we do employee relations across the business, supporting our managers and making sure we handle every situation with care, fairness and confidence. Our managers already know the process, what they need is someone they trust to lean on when things get a bit complex. That’s where you come in!
What You’ll Be Doing
It’s about building trust, coaching our managers, and helping people get things right. You’ll support with everything from sickness and performance conversations to investigations, grievances and disciplinaries – keeping things calm, clear and on track.
You’ll spend time on-site, get to know our people, and work proactively to spot challenges before they escalate. You’ll make sure our case tracking is spot on, provide regular insights to the Head of HR, and play a part in updating policies and shaping training for managers too. It’s a hands-on role, perfect for someone who wants to be involved in every part of ER, from big picture thinking right down to the detail.
