Job description

Are you a strong ER/HR Generalist who can travel to Hatfield (Hertfordshire) 3 days per week?

Our client is looking for an HR Generalist and Employee Relations Specialist (excellent knowledge of Employment Law) to join the team. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in your thinking. You'll be part of a wider HR team and will be confident to make decisions that will balance multiple factors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations casework including Disciplinary, Grievances, Appeals, Redundancy and consultation processes.
  • Provide managers with pragmatic and commercial advice in line with best practice.
  • Support managers through complex people matters.
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partners to deliver initiatives.
  • Design and deliver initiatives to support Management Development.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management experience.
Required Experience:
  • CIPD Qualified or working towards.
  • Strong HR Generalist background.
  • Excellent up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Expertise in all aspects of absence management.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • An understanding of working with Unions would be useful plus an awareness of TUPE.

In return they offer a salary of £50k plus a good benefits package and hybrid working (3 days in, 2 from home).
