Job summary

KPI Recruiting is seeking an HR Advisor in Stoke on Trent to support managers with employee relations and data-driven HR insights. The role covers ER caseloads, investigations and providing guidance on employment law while ensuring compliance and best practice across the business.

You'll work closely with the HR Manager to drive people metrics, improve processes and support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding and contracts.

Qualifications

• Previous HR Advisor experience with significant Employee Relations responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Proven experience managing complex ER cases from investigation through to outcome.
• Confident advising and influencing managers at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret HR data.
• Experience producing HR reports and identifying trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and flexible working matters.
• Lead and support workplace investigations from start to finish.
• Provide expert guidance on employment law and HR best practice to managers.
• Coach managers to navigate people matters effectively and ensure fairness and compliance.
• Produce and analyse HR reports and people metrics to identify trends and risks.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and probation processes and maintain HR records.
