Job Description
Employee Relations
- Providing first line support to employees on ER matters – responding to any queries or problems.
- Assisting managers with the employee life cycle starting.
- Ensuring all files are maintained in a timely and accurate manner and always ready for audit by the UK ER Manager or any regulatory bodies.
- Benefit support and administration.
- Advising managers on recruitment and utilising Smart Recruiters.
- Supporting the UK ER manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary issues.
- Writing and issuing letters to employees for any changes.
- Checking and updating managers on reference progress and confirming start dates when the file is complete.
- Ensuring all pre‑employment checks are completed for new starters, including right to work.
- Updating the HR database as and when required.
- Providing references for those requested to the relevant company.
- Coordinating the Service Awards program.
Talent Acquisition
- Liaising with ER representatives and compiling a list of all vacancies within the UK.
- Working with the UK ER Manager to develop a PSL, in collaboration with Legal Counsel and Compliance to read and sign all agency TOB’s.
- Sourcing candidates via various means such as LinkedIn, job boards and Smart Recruiters.
- Increasing our social media presence to attract the best talent.
- Working with managers and developing new recruitment initiatives.
- Increasing awareness of the Apprenticeship scheme and utilisation of the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Coordinating the onboarding process for all UK branches.
Reception
- Providing cover for Reception during lunch hours and during absence.
- Ensuring all Reception duties are completed as required.
Qualifications
- CIPD level 3 and above (although not essential).
