Overview
We are looking for talented and driven Equity Reward specialists to work in our team and who are excited by the opportunity to be a key part of an exciting growth journey. Clients will range from diverse privately owned businesses (owner-managed to private equity), as well as listed businesses. The successful applicant will want to be involved in business development activities, including client proposals, internal and external presentations and writing material on technical and other matters. Responsibilities
- Partner with team members to support on a wide range of equity reward matters, including designing and structuring new equity or cash-based incentive plans, considering tax (UK and overseas), commercial, tax and accounting impacts, and reviewing existing incentive plans to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
- Advise on the tax and wider commercial impact of corporate transactions on existing or new incentive plans and on the tax structuring of transactions.
- Advise management teams on the tax impact of transactions on incentive plans in which they participate, and design new incentives post-deal.
- Design incentive plans for the wider workforce, including all employee share purchase plans, and support clients on annual compliance and disclosure matters relating to operation of their share plans.
- Lead client engagements of moderate complexity independently, consulting with senior team members as necessary.
- Manage commercial aspects of engagements to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability, including expected utilisation and profitability targets.
- Take early responsibility for building and maintaining client relationships, including discussing people issues with clients and identifying opportunities to assist across different specialisms.
- Work with other teams to deliver integrated advice to clients in relation to their business issues.
- Delegate work to, and review work by, junior team members from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Train and develop junior team members from both technical and non-technical perspectives.
- Assist in developing innovative solutions and opportunities for clients and participate in initiatives to bring those solutions to market.
- Advise on technical issues and support the team’s knowledge management.

- Strong communicators (written and verbal). Bachelor’s Degree preferable but not essential.

- ATT and/or CTA/ACA/Legal qualification (either completed or part-completed or seeking to complete); relevant experience will be considered if you don’t have a professional qualification.
