Our client, a leading global asset manager, is looking to recruit an Equity Research Analyst to cover the MedTech sector.

The successful candidate will work independently to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the MedTech sector and generate investment recommendations for a range of portfolios.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed bottom-up fundamental equity analysis of stocks to generate investment ideas
• Produce and maintain financial models, keeping abreast of any market developments
• Communicate research and stock ideas with Portfolio Managers and the rest of the investment team
• Participate in company management meetings and site visits
• Contribute to wider investment debate

Candidate profile:

• Relevant experience within buy-side or sell-side equity research
• Deep knowledge of the MedTech sector
• Excellent academic background
• Ideally CFA qualified
• Genuine passion for investing
• Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
• High level of intellectual curiosity
• Team player
