Mason Blake is seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join the Global Equities team. The role covers the Global Media and Internet sectors, delivering actionable investment insights to support Portfolio Managers across various strategies.

The successful candidate will conduct in-depth fundamental research, build comprehensive models and present high-conviction ideas to colleagues in a rigorous investment environment. CFA preferred and strong academic background are valued.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of relevant fundamental equity research experience.
• Deep knowledge of Media, Internet and Telecoms sectors.
• Proven ability to find high-conviction ideas and articulate them persuasively.
• Strong fundamental research and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent academic background.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research to identify and develop high conviction investment ideas.
• Build and maintain understanding of covered companies and sectors, including operations, finances and competition.
• Present investment ideas to Portfolio Managers across global strategies.
• Build detailed financial models and analyze performance, ROIC, valuation and drivers.
• Collaborate with other sector analysts to strengthen research and idea generation.
• Contribute to research meetings with differentiated insights and perspectives.

Our client, a leading global asset manager is seeking an experienced Equity Research Analyst to join their Global Equities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering the Global Media and Internet sectors, generating actionable investment insights and supporting Portfolio Managers across a range of investment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental equity research to identify and develop high conviction investment ideas
• Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the companies and sectors under coverage, including their operational, financial and competitive dynamics
• Present compelling investment ideas to Portfolio Manager across a range of global strategies
• Build detailed financial models and undertake analysis of financial performance, returns on capital, valuation and key investment drivers
• Work closely with other sector analysts to strengthen investment research and idea generation
• Contribute actively in research meetings, sharing differentiated insights and perspectives with colleagues

Candidate profile

• 8-12+ years of relevant fundamental equity research experience
• Deep knowledge and understanding of companies in the Media, Internet and Telecoms sectors
• Proven ability to find high-conviction investment ideas and articulate them persuasively
• Strong fundamental research and financial modelling skills
• Excellent academic background
