Job summary

AAA Global in London is seeking a Long/Short Equity Analyst focused on the TMT and consumer sectors. You will conduct fundamental research, build financial models, and develop investment theses to identify long and short opportunities.

You will monitor earnings and market developments, and work with the investment team to support decisions, communicating views clearly and applying independent judgement.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in investment banking, M&A, private equity or fundamental equity research.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Experience covering TMT and/or consumer businesses preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in public equities and long/short investing.

AAA Global is partnering with a leading investment fund to hire a London-based Long/Short Equity Analyst focused on the TMT and consumer sectors.

This opportunity is suited to an analytically strong professional from investment banking, M&A or private equity looking to move into public markets investing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental research on TMT and consumer companies, assessing business models, competitive positioning and industry trends.
• Build detailed financial models and valuations to identify compelling long and short investment opportunities.
• Develop and present investment theses, highlighting catalysts, risks and potential returns.
• Monitor company earnings, market developments and portfolio positions.
• Work closely with the investment team to support investment decisions.

Requirements

• Up to 4-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, private equity or fundamental equity research.
• Strong financial modelling, accounting and valuation skills.
• Experience covering TMT and/or consumer businesses is preferred.
• A demonstrated interest in public equities and long/short investing.
• Independent thinking, commercial judgement and the ability to communicate investment views clearly.
