You’ll collaborate with highly regarded analysts, support the production of market-moving research, and play a visible role in shaping client-facing insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to Investment Research - Help create timely, well-argued written research, from earnings summaries to in-depth sector reports and long-form thematic pieces.
- Modelling & Market Intelligence - Take ownership of detailed financial models, monitor KPIs and market trends, and assist with valuation analysis to support stock recommendations.
- Supporting Client Conversations - Provide thoughtful, data-driven input to client queries, working with Sales and Research teams to deliver responsive, high-quality insights.
- Corporate Access & Engagement - Attend briefings and management meetings with listed companies, deepening your understanding of corporate strategy and industry challenges.
- Idea Generation & Internal Collaboration - Help refine sector theses, contribute to investment debates, and support the development of new research angles and commercial ideas.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to equity research, accountancy, investment banking, or corporate finance
- A relevant professional qualification (ACA, CFA, or similar), or strong progress toward one
- Excellent written communication and the ability to present complex financial ideas clearly and concisely
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, including model-building; familiarity with data platforms such as Bloomberg or FactSet is a plus
- A sharp analytical mind, high attention to detail, and a natural interest in how companies create value
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and remain composed under time pressure
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in public markets
