Job Description

Tradeweb is looking for a London-based Equity Product Relationship Manager with the primary focus to grow the European equity business beyond the ETF platforms and taking the best of what has worked in the US, UK, Europe & Asia. This role is part of the equity product management team and partners closely with our regional European sales team to deliver a closely aligned and strategic sales approach targeting growth in customer volumes and revenues of the specific product stream. It will also involve a lot of coordination not only within the product team but also across technology, marketing and sales.

The right individual will have prior sales experience and understand the sales cycle: how to initiate and develop relationships with customers, build up a comprehensive understanding of different customer needs, deliver targeted, quality sales calls and meetings to meet specific growth targets. It is important that this individual has sufficient breadth and in-depth of knowledge across the equities space. The successful person will also understand trade flows and processes, especially automated trading solutions in the Dealer to Customer environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible and consultative style to match client needs with Tradeweb’s services are essential, along with the tenacity to pursue opportunities, build sales pipelines and generate revenue. To be successful, you will also need to be an excellent team player, able to work with other teams, communicate effectively and share information

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the rest of the equities product and sales team to contribute to the sales pipeline, developing a thorough understanding of key drivers, priorities and different product / regional sales strategies. Ensure sales are up to speed on the products and armed to onboard prospects/grow business with existing customers
  • Work with other internal groups to leverage relationships and share information.
  • Build and develop key relationships both internally and with the European buy-side customer base, establishing yourself as a ‘go to’ person for customer enquiries and information; educate others and provide presentations / demonstrations as necessary.
  • Serve as a point of contact across issuers and dealers in forming collaborations where our interests are aligned
  • Help maintain Tradeweb’s position as a market leader within the Dealer to Client Fixed Income and Derivatives e-trading market, keeping up to date with market developments and competitor intelligence to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Represent the firm on panels, at conference and in various other external opportunities
  • Prospect directly for new business
