Job summary

Bristol Student Union (Bristol SU) is seeking a Liberation and Community Organising Coordinator to support student leaders, drive inclusive campaigns and connect liberation with student representation. The role builds cross-team links to maximise impact on student voice and change.

You’ll mentor leaders, shape organising strategies and empower marginalised students, supporting equality and social justice across campus.

Qualifications

• Experience empowering others to build impactful campaigns for change.
• Ability to mentor volunteers.
• Knowledge of democracy and representation in member-led organisations.
• Skilled planner and communicator.

Responsibilities

• Support liberation-focused student leaders and elected officers.
• Lead development of our community organising strategy.
• Collaborate with Liberation & Campaigns, Academic Representation and Research & Insight teams.
• Help ensure diverse representation in democratic processes and campaigns.
