Job summary

Cambridge House & Talbot is seeking an Employment & Discrimination Solicitor to join our Law Centre team in London. This permanent, full-time role offers meaningful legal advice, representation and advocacy to individuals facing discrimination and employment-related challenges, helping them access justice and uphold their rights.

You will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate in England and Wales, with substantial experience in employment and discrimination

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
• Substantial experience and expert knowledge of employment and discrimination law.
• Experience in Employment Tribunal practice and procedure.
• Ability to negotiate and conclude settlement agreements.
• Client-focused with a results-oriented approach and social justice commitment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice, assistance, and representation to users of the Law Centre.
• Advise on discrimination and employment-related issues.
• Represent clients in proceedings, including Employment Tribunal.
• Draft and negotiate settlement agreements.
• Maintain client-focused advocacy and effective case management.
