Job Description:

My client is one of the world's largest investment banks and a leader in the equity derivatives business. They are working with their exotic equities team, which is looking to hire a front office, equity derivatives modelling quant (pricing models, trading support). They are ideally aiming to hire at VP and Director levels to support substantial growth in this business area.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Participating in modelling, design, and support of trading and risk infrastructure, in close interaction with Trading.
  2. Being the desk's first point of contact for any equity derivatives modelling topics, maintaining frequent interactions with the desk, and monitoring the performance of models on live books.
  3. Independently identifying and proposing new modelling approaches and improvements to existing models.
  4. Participating in the design, development, and support of trading tools and applications.
  5. Having experience in the financial services industry, ideally with some background in exotic equity derivatives.
  6. Proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
