Description & Requirements For our Equities division in London we are looking to hire a
Client Relationship Management

Your role in the team
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Client Relationship Management team. This role is suited to someone with a previous experience in CRM or Client Strategy within equities, who has strong attention to detail, high care factor and can hit the ground running.

What will you do?

  • Formulate and monitor action plans to improve Berenberg’s competitive positioning.
  • Support and drive strategic projects to develop client relationships and sales organisation (e.g. development/monitoring of performance metrics, evolution of client coverage models, cross-sell between desks).
  • Partner with sales account managers and sales trading teams to execute client management activities (e.g. prepare for, attend and provide feedback from periodic client broker reviews / relationship meetings, manage and document research agreements / negotiations for existing and new clients, support account planning projects)
  • Undertake data-driven projects in Excel to help develop and maintain detailed metrics across clients (e.g. resource allocation analysis, commission and wallet benchmarking, consumption reports) to provide analysis and conclusions to internal stakeholders
  • Work as a trusted partner to equities management to provide strategic advice and participate in business decisions
  • Contribute to development and sharing of best practices within the CRM team


Who are we looking for?
  • Previous experience working in CRM or Client strategy at a bank within equities
  • Proficient user of MS Office Suite, in particular MS Excel with very good analytical and communication skills
  • Relates and works well with people at all levels with high levels of professionalism
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; multi-tasking and a pro-active approach whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Adapts to the team, takes initiative, and contributes to a collegiate environment
  • Willingness to tackle new challenges with enthusiasm
