Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior Markets/Business Management leader to drive strategic priorities within Equities and the Multi Asset Group. You will partner with senior Trading, Sales, and Structuring leadership to execute from concept through delivery while guiding cost optimization and transformation initiatives across EMEA and global markets.

You will oversee P&L, budgeting, and investment planning, and shape headcount and talent strategy while upholding regulatory and control frameworks.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in markets business management or a related front-office function.
• Deep knowledge of equity structured products, trade and sales lifecycle, and regulatory environment.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead business management initiatives across Equities and the Multi Asset Group with senior leaders to drive strategic priorities from concept to delivery.
• Drive cost optimization and business transformation programs, including new product and country rollouts across EMEA and global markets.
• Oversee P&L analysis, expense management, forecasting, and annual investment planning processes.
• Develop and maintain control and regulatory framework (MiFID II, UK Consumer Duty, Manager Control Assessment).
• Serve as liaison for Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit while implementing front-office control frameworks.
• Chair governance forums and senior management reporting, establishing consistent metrics and communication standards.
• Shape headcount planning, talent strategy and employee engagement for the team.
• Assess risk in every business decision to protect Citi's reputation and clients.

• Serve as the primary liaison for Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit while implementing front-office-focused control frameworks.
• Chair governance forums and senior management reporting, establishing consistent metrics and communication standards across the franchise.
• Shape headcount planning, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives for the team.
• Assess risk in every business decision to protect Citi's reputation and safeguard its clients and assets.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Significant experience in markets business management, structuring, or a related front-office function.
• Deep knowledge of equity structured products, the trade and sales lifecycle, and the regulatory environment governing Equities and Multi Asset businesses.
• A track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs and influencing senior stakeholders across a global matrix organization.
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to Managing Directors and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise reporting and data platforms.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
