Job summary

Citi is seeking a Business Manager to shape strategy, governance, and controls across the Equities and Multi Asset Group. You will partner with senior Trading, Sales and Structuring leaders to drive priorities from concept through delivery in a fast-paced, global market environment.

You will oversee cost optimization, P&L, and regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, UK Consumer Duty) while collaborating with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit to uphold strong controls and risk management.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in markets business management, structuring, or a related front-office function.
• Deep knowledge of equity structured products, the trade and sales lifecycle, and the regulatory environment governing Equities and Multi Asset businesses.
• A track record of leading complex, cross-functional programs and influencing senior stakeholders across a global matrix organization.
• Strong ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to Managing Directors and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise reporting and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead business management initiatives across Equities and the Multi Asset Group, partnering with senior Trading, Sales, and Structuring leadership to execute strategic priorities from concept through delivery.
• Drive cost optimization and business transformation programs, including new product and country rollouts across EMEA and other global markets.
• Oversee P&L analysis, expense management, forecasting, and the annual investment planning process for the business.
• Develop and maintain the control and regulatory framework for the business, covering areas such as the Manager Control Assessment, MiFID II, and UK Consumer Duty requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison for Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit while implementing front-office-focused control frameworks.
• Chair governance forums and senior management reporting, establishing consistent metrics and communication standards across the franchise.
• Shape headcount planning, talent strategy, and employee engagement initiatives for the team.
• Assess risk in every business decision to protect Citi's reputation and safeguard its clients and assets.
