Remarkable Jobs in Dagenham is seeking an Equipment Technician to join our busy operation. This hands-on role focuses on preparing, testing and maintaining a wide range of specialist rental equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will perform PAT testing, minor repairs, inventory updates and liaise with contractors. The position offers a 40-hour week, rotating shifts between 7:00am and 8:00pm, and a comprehensive benefits package including generous holiday allowance and company

Qualifications

• Experience working with equipment, tools, electrical products or technical equipment.
• PAT testing experience or knowledge would be advantageous.
• Confidence carrying out basic checks, fault identification and minor repairs.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn in-house asset management systems.
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational, warehouse, technical or equipment environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach.
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.

We are looking for a practical and organised Equipment Technician to join their busy operation in Dagenham. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring specialist rental equipment is prepared, tested, maintained and ready for use.

The Role

As an Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards across a large inventory of specialist rental equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing, checking and testing equipment before and after rental

• Carrying out PAT testing and functional checks

Hours & Benefits

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern between 7:00am and 8:00pm, including some weekend work.
