EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Location: Aylesbury
Salary:£23,811pa
Job Type:Permanent

About the Role:
We are looking for a practical and proactive Equipment Technician to join our clients team.
This role is essential in ensuring catering equipment is safe, clean, and ready for use, while also supporting logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing catering equipment – PAT testing.
  • Cleaning equipment to maintain hygiene and functionality.
  • Ensuring all Health and Safety standards are met, including keeping fire exits clear.
  • Advising the Stores and Logistics Manager of any defects or repairs needed.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading equipment onto trucks.
  • Maintaining flight cases (large, wheeled boxes) and reporting any faults.
  • Driving company vehicles for deliveries and collections as required.
  • General housekeeping throughout the day to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Performing any other reasonable related duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of PAT testing (training can be provided).
  • A proactive and safety-conscious attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
  • Physically fit and capable of handling heavy equipment.
