Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an Equipment Sales Representative for a leading engineering and manufacturing business to cover the UK. Salary: £45,000-£50,000 OTE + commission

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are working with a leading engineering and manufacturing business to recruit an Equipment Sales Representative to represent our client across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who is hungry to earn, enjoys winning new business and has the technical ability to sell equipment and solutions into the food and produce packing sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business across the UK, building strong relationships with key OEMs and existing customers, while introducing new products and services to the market.

The Role

• Develop and implement sales strategies across new and existing customers.
• Identify and win new business opportunities throughout the UK.
• Develop long‑term relationships with key customers and OEM partners.
• Introduce new products and services through a consultative sales approach.
• Provide a high level of customer service to encourage repeat and long‑term business.
• Identify opportunities to maximise sales and profitability.
• Monitor market activity and competitor offerings to ensure the company’s products remain competitive.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
• Work closely with the UK Sales Team to develop and deliver a business plan for future growth.
• Travel extensively throughout the UK, with occasional overseas travel when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is energetic, commercially focused and genuinely motivated by success and earning potential.

You will ideally have:

• A proven track record in Business Development or Technical Sales.
• At least 3 years’ experience within the produce or food packing market - essential.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate technical information.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Experience developing both new and existing customer accounts.
• A structured and target‑driven approach to sales.
• The confidence to deal with customers and stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a wider sales team.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
