Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job. Experience in ground support and/or tooling/equipment maintenance. Supervisory or lead experience is preferred.

Position Purpose:

Supervises and coordinates all activities and personnel of facilities ground support equipment and/or tooling/equipment operations to ensure timely and cost-efficient fulfillment of business objectives and quality standards. Supervises all maintenance activities related to aircraft production equipment to ensure quality, schedule compliance, and cost while achieving customer satisfaction and FAA requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establishes goals and objectives for the departmental staff in conjunction with management.
• Maintains an efficient organization, reviews performance, and provides guidance and training.
• Sets schedules and standards, and ensures their achievement.
• Reports key performance metrics to management.
• Supervises maintenance reliability for all machines.
• Evaluates improvements, proposals, and project requirements for feasibility and economic worth.
• Implements predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinates with other departments on quality, problems, and schedule issues.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety procedures, and standards.
• Coordinates training for personnel.
• Prepares project scope, schedules, budgets, and tracks progress.
• Assists in contracts and supervises vendor services.
• Ensures safety and environmental standards are followed.

Other requirements include knowledge of maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment, PC literacy, and the ability to analyze complex processes.
