Job description

Be the spark that keeps our warehouse humming – your expertise in electrical equipment can light up our operations.

Your Role

This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination and conditioning of Telecommunication and Optical equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at KNGD Donnington. Using approved data to maintain the stock.

Your Responsibilities
  • Establish and understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls including understanding how to identify risks.
  • Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
  • Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required.
  • Be a Champion for Delivery of Service at all times.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the latest approved data.
  • Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with approved data.
  • Ensure you work within current approved data, policies, processes, procedures and management guidance.
  • Work with others to ensure required outcomes are achieved.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Experience of working on MOD items/equipment (desired).
  • IMS experience.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and deal with conflict successfully.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate.
  • Drive, determination, and a track record in delivering continuous improvement.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
