Your Role

This role is responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, investigation, examination, and conditioning of Telecommunication and Optical equipment and associated sub-assemblies held at KNGD Donnington. Using approved data to maintain the stock.

Your Responsibilities
  • Establish an understanding of Risk Assessments and Risk Controls, including identifying risks.
  • Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices, including reporting all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
  • Participate in and contribute to WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with necessary amendments, updates, and rewrites.
  • Be a Champion for Delivery of Service at all times.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to the latest approved data.
  • Ensure work is conducted in accordance with approved data, policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with others to achieve required outcomes.
Your Skills and Experiences
  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Experience working on MOD items/equipment (desired).
  • IMS experience.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and manage conflict successfully.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Leadership qualities including motivating and enthusing others.
  • Drive, determination, and a track record of continuous improvement.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends as required.
