1 – Who We Are

We’re the UK branch of ABMI, a French engineering consulting group with over 35 years of experience delivering high-level expertise in critical industries like nuclear energy, aerospace, and transportation. We specialize in specific sectors, which makes our expertise highly focused and valuable.

ABMI is known for its deep technical knowledge and ability to adapt its skills to new sectors. Our strength lies in focusing on core areas rather than spreading ourselves too thin. In the UK, we’re applying our nuclear expertise to projects with EDF, a longstanding client supported in France, which has opened opportunities for us to expand in the UK.

We’re committed to delivering tailored engineering solutions that drive results. Our consulting approach involves aligning with our partners’ challenges and bringing the right people, tools, and strategies to advance projects.

Our core values are expertise, integrity, and care for people, which are at the heart of everything we do.

2 – What You’ll Do

You will join ABMI HPC technical team in Bristol as Equipment Integration Lead, managing integration topics within the EDF Equipment team, driving performance, design maturity, and configuration management, and providing support and technical direction for complex topics.

  • Act as ambassador for the EDF team to enhance design maturity and stability, addressing technical impacts of open points and design changes.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve technical issues related to design changes and open points.
  • Report on design maturity and stability objectives and escalate issues as needed.
  • Serve as Entity Interface Manager, participating in meetings and supporting escalation of blocking issues related to technical interfaces.
  • Share best practices regarding integration and configuration management across teams.
  • Facilitate implementation of the Design Changes process, especially concerning UKDC and impact analyses.
3 – Why Join Us

At ABMI UK, we combine the strength of a European engineering group with the agility of a small team. Based in Bristol, we offer the chance to be part of a growing, meaningful organization.

We are a consulting company, not a recruitment agency—your expertise matters, and your voice influences our future. We understand what matters to engineers:

  • Gaining real technical experience on large-scale projects
  • Working in a supportive environment that values learning and collaboration
  • Access to structured career paths with growth opportunities
  • Personalized support to develop skills, expand knowledge, and reach goals

We see your career as a journey, and we’re here to support you along the way.
