Collins Aerospace is looking for an Equipment Engineer. You will join the equipment engineering team, which provides front-line support across our Plymouth site, ensuring equipment is maintained and calibrated, and providing breakdown support. The equipment includes technology, manual and automated systems, off-the-shelf and custom electro-mechanical equipment, environmental chambers, and safety systems.

What you will do
  1. Work to planned schedules to minimize downtime for calibration, maintenance, and upgrades.
  2. Diagnose and rectify faults using methodical problem-solving techniques.
  3. Follow company procedures and documentation to meet quality and regulatory standards.
  4. Provide auditable documentation and reports for calibration, maintenance, and safety tasks.
  5. Volunteer for shift work and on-call support when required, with a premium pay.
  6. Work solely onsite in Plymouth.
