The Role
Preparation of construction plant equipment and their ancillaries:
- Cleaning equipment prior to and post hire
- Checking and preparing tooling and equipment
- Assist in handover and take back of equipment at customer locations as required.
- Assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of the service centre location.
- Delivery and collection of equipment as required.
- Completion of job cards in accordance with data entry requirements for the Fleet Management System.
- Assist Engineers as required (to level of own experience/expertise).
- May be required to undertake out of hours duties including weekend work.
Essential Experience
- No restrictions to gaining MoD security clearance.
- Physically fit to assist in loading and unloading of equipment, tools and spares.
- Able to maintain periods of intense workload.
- Able to demonstrate a positive culture for their own and others’ safety, to be able to complete work based dynamic risk assessments.
- Articulate, professional and good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
- Computer/IT literacy.
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety, LOLER and PUWER regulations.
- Experience in construction related plant/Materials Handling Equipment/HGV.
- Telehandler Operator.
