Job summary

Brandon Hire Station in Plymouth is hiring for a Driver / Service & Branch Assistant. This role involves delivering, collecting, servicing and maintaining our equipment, and then returning to the branch to support the wider team.

You will demonstrate equipment to customers, ensure safe handling, support seasonal events and assist with branch operations. You must hold a Full UK driving licence; a forklift licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with professional communication.
• Willingness to learn about machinery and equipment.
• Flexible and adaptable to seasonal events and varying hours.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all deliveries and collections as allocated by line manager.
• Demonstrate equipment to customers on request.
• Provide excellent customer service on site and while driving company vehicles.
• Ensure equipment is stored safely in branch and during transportation.
• Support servicing and operation of seasonal events and ensure equipment is ready for hire.
• Assist in towing and forklift duties where trained.
• Support branch team with equipment prep, housekeeping and activities.
• Occasionally perform ad hoc duties within the branch.
