Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive, client-focused practice in the UK. You’ll handle a varied caseload across leisure, sport and performance horses, supported by a well-equipped equine clinic with in-house diagnostics.

Role: 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, with an on-call rota and 1 in 4 weekends off in lieu. You’ll work with an experienced team, deliver high standards of care, and contribute to the clinic culture while developing your clinical interests

Qualifications

  • Veterinary degree and RCVS registration (or eligibility) required.
  • Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive approach to learning with openness to feedback and development.
  • Professional, reliable and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Passion for delivering excellent patient and client care.

We are seeking an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive, client-focused practice. You will play a central role in delivering high standards of veterinary care, building strong client relationships. The caseload is varied and rewarding, spanning leisure, sport, and performance horses. Our purpose‑built equine clinic includes examination rooms, stables, a knockdown box, and paddocks. We are well‑equipped with x‑ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, gastroscopy, shock wave therapy, and dentistry services. Our in‑house lab at the small animal clinic enables us to get quick results for urgent cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Equine Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

The role is Monday to Friday between the hours 8am and 5pm, contributing to the on call rota. 1 in 4 weekends on call with days off in lieu for this.
