Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in the United Kingdom is seeking an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive, client-focused practice. The role involves delivering high-standard veterinary care, building strong client relationships, and managing a varied caseload across leisure, sport, and performance horses.

You will work Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, with on-call duties and 1 in 4 weekends. The clinic is fully equipped with diagnostics and an in-house lab to support urgent cases.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.

We are seeking an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive, client-focused practice.

You will play a central role in delivering high standards of veterinary care, building strong client relationships. The caseload is varied and rewarding, spanning leisure, sport, and performance horses. Our purpose-built equine clinic includes examination rooms, stables, a knockdown box, and paddocks. We are well-equipped with x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, gastroscopy, shock wave therapy, and dentistry services. Our in-house lab at the small animal clinic enables us to get quick results for urgent cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Equine Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.

You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.

The role is Monday to Friday between the hours 8am and 5pm, contributing to the on call rota. 1 in 4 weekends on call with days off in lieu for this.
