We have a fantastic opportunity for you to advance your career as a Full-Time Equine Veterinary Surgeon at our clients 100% equine practice, nestled in the picturesque landscape of West Sussex. This esteemed equine hospital, complemented by an ambulatory service, is seeking a dedicated professional to enrich their clinical team. The practice prides itself on its independence and the exceptional care provided to a diverse range of equine patients, from pleasure horses to elite competition athletes.

This practice is a beacon of excellence, with a clinical team comprising 10 Equine Vets, including a practice owner who is a distinguished internal medicine specialist (Diplomate) and another partner who is an AVP in both equine medicine and orthopaedics/surgery. The team's expertise spans across medicine, GI, respiratory, ophthalmology, reproduction, sports medicine, surgery, and orthopaedics, creating a rich environment for knowledge sharing and professional development.

The successful candidate will be joining a practice that values the well-being of its equine community and the professional growth of its staff. With a team of three RVN’s and dedicated support staff, the practice ensures a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Qualifications for this role include MRCVS registration or eligibility (VISA sponsorship is available for the right candidate), a robust background with a fervent interest in equine medicine, and/or surgery/orthopaedics. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an equine veterinary practice is ideal. Candidates will ideally have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and adept problem-solving abilities.
