Job Opportunity: Equine Technician at Sparsholt College

Join our team with competitive benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £23,088 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
  • Recruitment Attraction Payment: £2,000 (pro-rata if part-time)

We are seeking both full-time and part-time technicians to join the Sparsholt College Equine Team. Under the guidance of the Equine Centre Manager, your primary responsibilities will include supervising students, supporting their practical learning, and maintaining high standards in horse care, husbandry, and training.

You will lead by example to ensure a positive and educational experience for students, fostering a learner-focused environment. Additionally, you will work alongside the team to provide high-quality care for the college horses, ensuring compliance with BHS standards.

Your duties will also involve administrative tasks, organizing daily operations, and participating in events and competitions at the Equine Centre. Opportunities to compete in on-site competitions and to assist with schooling the college horses are included.

Working hours will include a weekend day and some evenings. Single accommodation in a shared house may be available at a reduced rent.
