Aramark UK are currently recruiting an Equine Labour Supervisor to join our team working at Hyde Park Barracks, Knightsbridge.

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 10 Equine Equipment Orderlies with the cleaning and maintenance of ceremonial and exercise head kits, saddles, and girths for the Military Working Horses. Coordinating the collection and return of laundered item for the associated ancillaries for the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in Central London.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

• This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, working pattern Monday – Friday. Shift hours are 08:00 – 16:00.
• The hourly pay rate is £13.50.

A day in the life of an Equine Labour Supervisor:

• Supervising a team of equipment orderlies, ensuring a high standard of cleaning and maintenance for all equine equipment and that work is conducted in a professional manner.
• Reporting any damage/defects to the appropriate person.
• Responsible for all Health and Safety in the department for both staff and visitors.
• Ensuring the correct use of cleaning equipment, materials, and tools by all staff.
• Providing administrative support for claims of overtime and annual leave, ensuring cover is consistently provided and enhanced during peak periods including bank and public holidays. Ensuring staff rotation of tasks to enhance skills and their resilience.
• Resolving any customer complaints related to the cleaning and maintenance of the equine equipment.

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Supervisory experience preferred, full training will be given on cleaning civilian and military saddlery.
