Plumpton College is seeking a part-time equine lecturer to join its equine teaching team. The role covers planning and delivering both theory and practical units across levels 1 to 3, assessing written and practical work, and monitoring student progress.

It is a 0.8 FTE, year-round position with flexible hours to meet business needs. Applicants should have an Enhanced DBS check and the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• Formal qualification recognising equine industry knowledge.
• Coaching riding and delivering practical and theory teaching across a wide range of abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons across theory and practical units at levels 1 to 3
• Co-ordinate and lead units within the equine programme
• Assess students' progress through written and practical assessments
• Monitor and track students' progress towards their goals
• Support the diverse needs of students so they reach their potential
• Create engaging, interactive learning to maintain high attendance
• Promote learning through links to the equine industry
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement
